Southern Star Southern Star Salado, TX Salado, TX Temporary Temporary $15 an hour $15 an hour 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing warehouse duties under the direction of the Warehouse Lead and Warehouse Manager to meet operational goals by successfully completing assigned tasks.
Warehouse Clerk duties and responsibilities include:
Order Shipping/Receiving as necessary Inventory Accuracy and Accounting Compliance Equipment/Tool Issue and Retrieval Equipment Retrieval RA Process and Shipment New Hire Load Out Site to Site Equipment Transfer Other Duties as Assigned Requirements:
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and the public Must have valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle Must have effective communication skills - reading, writing, and speaking Must have computer operational skills (Microsoft Outlook and Excel) Must be able to adapt to business process changes Must demonstrate the ability to follow directions and meet deadlines Must be able to operate a scanner and printer Must be able to pass background check, drug screen and meet SSI MVR requirements Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent Must be at work fully prepared and on time for the entire duration of every scheduled workday Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 45 pounds, perform overhead activities and climb ladders Strong organizational skills ability to multi-task and work independently Ability to perform work in a non-climate-controlled environment for extended periods of time.
Ability to work under minimal supervision on duties and assigned tasks of substantial variety and complexity Working Environment:
Warehouse environment without climate control which entails working in ambient temperatures, both hot and cold.
Experience:
One-year previous warehouse, shipping and receiving experience preferred.
